Welcome to Kennel Zaijas

We live live in East-Finland place called Pielavesi in the middle of rustic landscape. We have had dogs over 20 years and breeding history since 1990. First we had German Shepherds but since 1995 we took our first Caucasian Ovctharkas, male and female from russia and other female from Finnish breeder, the russian breeds took our heart. 1999 we import first South Russian Ovctharka female from Ukraine and two years later a male from France. These dogs has been the base of our breeding.

The main thing in our dogs is the original behavior and use as lifeguardiandogs. They are not just showdogs, many of them are in a real work as a guardian in furfarms and farms taking care of the safety of the animals horses, cows, lambs exc. By the work they are also loveing familydogs.
