Dog is mans most loyal friend. They deserve the best, beginning with an optimal start in life. At Valentino Samoyeds we take breeding very seriously. Our Samoyeds are bred to complement each other, building on strengths and correcting weaknesses.  We breed with the entire dog in mind. We breed for quality not quantity. 

Our goal is to consistently produce puppies sound in mind and body to ensure they live a long healthy life. Prior to each breeding we extensively study pedigrees, phenotype and genotype as well as calculate Inbreeding Co-Efficiencies. We breed our Samoyeds to meet not only the AKC written standard but the CKC and FCI standards as well.

Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home where they will be properly socialized from birth until they leave us between 8-12 weeks old.  Many times our little ladies start their labor and delivery in our bed, where they sleep with us every night. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Samoyeds are our passion and our samoyeds are very much a part of the family. Where ever you see our 15 month old daughter there is surely a trail of sams following close behind. 

The Neurological system of a puppy begins to rapidly develop between three and 16 days old. At this time a puppy’s eyes and ears are not yet open.  Applying Neurological stimulation (a mild stress test) will stimulate hormone, adrenal and pituitary systems. This will allow our puppies to withstand stress later in life. Other benefits of Neurological Stimulation include confidence and an increased disease resistance.

There are many factors we take into consideration prior to placing our puppies.  I will admit that puppy questionnaires are a bit intimidating (I went through this myself when I purchased my first samoyed). A Puppy Questionnaire will simply inform me where the puppy will live, your experience in the breed, as well as your intentions with your new puppy. I will be able to educate you further in the breed whether you are looking for a top winning show dog or a low-key companion.
