Email Snake River Doodles My name is Nikki and my husband, Frank, and our five children together raise first generation labradoodles. We breed a few litters of labradoodles each year with the intention of bringing strong, intelligent, healthy, happy Service Dog Hopefuls and companion dogs into the world and people's lives. I have lived with a seizure disorder for 33 years and my seizure alert dogs have changed my life. I hope to bring the confidence and independence that Zeus and Hercules give me to others. Nikki & Hercules We spend many hours observing, playing, testing, and assessing these sweet babies. We have a 90% success rate with our service dog homes. The puppies are also exposed and socialized to many sounds, sights, textures, all of our farm animals, and all ages, shapes, and kinds of people. This helps in their success rates. We are located just 2 1/2 hours north of Salt Lake City, Utah on Interstate 15 just a few miles north of Pocatello, ID and about 4 hours from Boise. I love to talk dogs. I started the Snake River Doodles breeding program to help others in my situation. I grew up with a seizure disorder and always dreamed of being able to have a service dog. The price range offered to me was around $45,000. In 2010 service dog laws changed and now I was able to obtain my own dog and private training. My passion is to help others get a service dog quality pup that need one. We also have openings for pet homes, too.
My females are always labradors and are loved on in our home and sleep on our beds. They are all working therapy dogs, before they become a mom for me. The dads are Zeus, my 6 year old standard poodle and seizure alert dog, and Hercules, my 1 year old standard poodle and seizure alert and response dog. Hercules graduated Top Dog in his training class and is gradually taking over for our retiring Zeus.
The puppies are raised in our home with my 5 kids, ages 4-16. They are handled daily and are tested several times for health, structure, and temperament/personality. They also have their first set of shots and have been wormed. They get to go on therapy visits to ISU, the Idaho State Veteran's Home, local schools, etc. The pups are socialized to other dogs, a cat, ponies, goats, rabbits, and ducks.
We put our hearts into these amazing babies. Tell us why you would make a wonderful owner for one. If you contact me and a decision is made that you would make a great match with a labradoodle, then you will place a deposit. I then contact my families when the puppies are being born and update you along the way. Visitors are welcome anytime except during labor and you cannot handle the pups until they are two weeks old. Then I update with pictures and videos every week until they are ready to go to their forever home or the trainer. The deposit is $200 to secure your spot on our waiting list
