About Pemberley Old-Time Scotch Collies:
Originally, we did not plan to operate as dog breeders; we just wanted a wonderful companion dog to travel with and occasionally guard the chickens. However, after acquiring a lot of information about the breeding process, we have decided to do our part in preserving our dog’s bloodline, which led to the birth of our Western KY business.
The name, Pemberley, comes from our love of Jane Austen novels and the Regency Era. We all love a companion dog who is attentive, loyal, and strong…much like Mr. Darcy of Pemberley.
Pemberley pups will be registered as a litter with the OTSCA, trained to walk on a loose lead, and will be matched to families based on desired temperament.
