I am a small hobby breeder of pet quality chihuahuas. I have raised chihuahuas for 35 years. I love my chihuahuas, they are my babies and are spoiled at an early age. My puppies are raised in my home and are played with and handled every day to insure a happy, well socialized puppy. They are used to the normal family noises and are not the shy, shaking fearful kind. They are raised around kids, cats, and other dogs. I breed for temperment and overall health. I do not breed for the so called “teacup” chihuahua although I do sometimes have chihuahuas that are only 2.5 lbs as an adult. My chihuahuas are about 4-5 lbs, still small but not so small as to break a leg jumping from the couch. Sturdy enough to play with but still small enough to take with you every where you go. My puppies are usually not the “yappy” type either. They are, however, very good watch dogs. They will let you know if something is amiss. All our puppies are up-to-date on their shots and de-wormed.
Chihuahuas are addictive! They are my drug of choice!
